Dear Friends of Mission Nation,
Missionaries to America are in urgent need during this pandemic. They minister to people who have little so many are bi-vocational workers. Unfortunately, some have lost those jobs and are having trouble paying rent and are being evicted. They are having trouble putting food on the table for their families.
District mission executives have been trying to find support for missionaries that need personal aid. A generous donor has given Mission Nation $10,000 to help the missionaries through these tough times. We are asking you to help match that grant. These are small, one time grants requested by a district to help a missionary get past a family crisis. – like this missionary in the Southeastern District identified by Dr. Yared Halche:
“My wife works at Health First Hospital. Since the crisis started, she often gets called off; they have asked her to stay home often. Her hours are cut in half. We are in urgent need of current bills (mortgage, electric etc.).”
Indicate that the donation is for the Missionary Emergency Fund.
If you prefer, checks may be sent to:
1795 Leamington Ln
Naples, Fl. 34109
Again, indicate the donation is for Mission Nation’s Missionary Emergency Fund.
(Did you know you can maximize your savings with an IRA Charitable Rollover gift? At the age of 70 ½ or older you can use your individual retirement account (IRA, 403B, etc.) to sustain your favorite ministry. Reduce your taxable income, even if you do not itemize deductions. Mission Nation is tax exempt – no tax is paid on a transfer from your account. This means you can make a gift that is not subject to the deductions limits on a charitable gift. The money goes straight to the mission. You do not pay a tax on the distribution.) To learn more contact your accountant or tax advisor or whoever administers your IRA.
Please help as the Lord has enabled you!
